Instrument Repair
A representative from C.A. House Music will be on hand for any repair or equipment needs. They will be located close to the band entrance of the stadium.
Full Retreat
During Philo’s performance, please gather in the area near the concession stand. Bands typically choose to wear their full uniforms. Once Philo is done performing, bands will begin to enter the back of the field, marching to their own cadence. The timing and penalties judge will assist you where/when to go. I have also included a map of the placement of the bands. Once all bands are set, there will be a presentation of plaques to each band. After the presentation, bands will leave to their own cadence from the front of the field. Directors may pick up their packets at the sideline and proceed to the critique in the Board Office. Our concession stand will be closed for Philo’s performance, but will reopen directly afterwards to serve your students while you are in the critique.
Critique
The critique will begin in the Board Office after the Full Retreat. Once you have received your packet, please proceed to this area. Please refer to your critique schedule to see which rotation you will be in. The critique schedule was created so that bands who have the furthest travel can leave the earliest, which means it will not be in performance order. The concession stand will remain open until the end of the critique, so your students can eat while you are at the critique!
Inclement Weather
If there is inclement weather, bands will return to their buses. We will follow the OMEA guidelines about inclement weather. The event will be suspended for 30 minutes after the storm has passed. Once the weather has cleared, we will resume the performances. Bands who were in warm up when the event was suspended will be allowed to resume warm up.
